CLF ADVANCED MATH PROGRAM

Now available VIRTUALLY, the Chesapeake Lighthouse Foundation (CLF)’s Advanced Math Program (AMP) is designed for students who want to be challenged!

Expectations: Invent your own & solve unusual problems; apply existing knowledge in new situations; discover the hidden gems of mathematics, and explore your unknown. Learn more. Classes are hyper-focused on material rarely, if ever, encountered in a traditional classroom curriculum.

Apply Thy Self: To test newly honed skills, the program will prepare participants for challenging math competitions such as MOEMS, MathCounts, ARML, AMCs, and PuMAC. By working with teachers in small focus groups, AMP will build and scaffold our participants reasoning and problem-solving skills that will assuredly contribute to increased success in an array of areas.

  • Middle School Math Competitions with Mr. Avsar

  • High School Math Competitions with Mr. Onyshkevych

Who is this for? = Is this for YOU?

Ideally, this program is designed for students considering themselves excelling at standard math. This universal language is always challenging what we know. Additionally, if you are a student on your school’s math team, this program will increase individual and team potential for improved competition results.
